This
is a project for all ages. On red
construction paper cut out the bear pattern.
Cut a second bear pattern from white construction paper and cut out the
heart in the middle of the bear’s tummy.
Glue white bear on top of red bear and begin to add the ears, nose,
hands, feet, layering hearts to give it dimension.
Add the moveable eyes and the three heart shaped balloons.
For the finishing touch add a child’s photo in the bear’s tummy or a
written message from child. This is
such a versatile project which can be used depending on your child’s age.
For the younger child, you will want to precut the bear pattern where an
older child will be able to trace the pattern and cut with scissors.
This is a good exercise is small manipulative motor control.
Helping the child to experience success with shapes, colors and to
differentiate between sizes and the completion of a task filled with love
is our goal.
